It's dim and cramped. Foil-wrapped flex duct snakes across the foreground of an attic, and back among the rafters crouches a figure in black clothing with a face covering.
A voice whispers that it's right behind you. The joke is that enough hours in attic heat will have you hearing things.
That foil jacket on the flex duct is its insulation wrap. Cold air from your AC travels inside it, surrounded by attic air far hotter than outdoors. If the jacket is torn or a joint has slipped apart, the duct gains heat and leaks cooled air before it reaches a room.
