A round duct opening in a ceiling, its seam wrapped in silver foil tape, and a gray long-haired cat looking straight down out of it. The on-screen line plays it like a horror movie: something ain't right. Nobody's working in this shot. It's seven seconds of a cat in an air duct that found the best hiding spot in the house.
That foil tape matters, by the way. Real foil tape is what seals a round duct joint so conditioned air stays inside the run. The cloth kind sold as duct tape dries out and lets go on ductwork, which is why techs reach for foil.
